About EcoGrid Renewables

Designed for safety, compliance, and real-world performance

EcoGrid Renewables provides renewable energy and electrical services for homeowners, landlords, and businesses across Scotland and the UK.

Our focus is simple:

Designing and delivering systems that are safe, compliant, and genuinely effective — not just attractive on paper.

We operate at the intersection of renewable energy and regulated electrical engineering, applying the same technical discipline expected in any safety-critical industry.

Why We Do What We Do

Rising energy costs, ageing electrical infrastructure, and increasing regulatory pressure mean property owners are being asked to make complex decisions with long-term consequences.

Too often, systems are sold before they are properly understood — resulting in:

  • Underperforming solar and battery installations

  • Electrical non-compliance and insurance risk

  • Missed savings and unnecessary upgrade costs

EcoGrid was formed to change that approach.

We believe renewable and electrical systems should be assessed, designed, and verified — not simply installed.

A Diagnostic-First Methodology

Before recommending any solution, we start with understanding.

Our process focuses on:

  • Your property and existing electrical infrastructure

  • How energy is actually used throughout the day

  • Safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements

  • Long-term performance, reliability, and maintainability

Only once these factors are understood do we design or recommend a system.

This diagnostic-first approach ensures every solution is technically appropriate, compliant, and aligned with real-world use — not generic packages or sales targets.

Our Services

EcoGrid delivers integrated energy and electrical services, including:

Solar PV systems designed for reliable long-term generation

Battery storage to improve self-consumption and reduce peak costs

EV charging installations for domestic and commercial use

Electrical design, testing, inspection and upgrades, for domestic and commercial property

What Sets EcoGrid Apart

A diagnostic-first approach built around compliance, real-world performance, and long-term reliability.

Safety and Compliance First

Every EcoGrid installation is designed and delivered in line with UK regulatory requirements, including BS 7671, MCS, and NAPIT standards.

Compliance is embedded at every stage — from system design through to testing, certification, and final sign-off — ensuring systems are safe, insurable, and built for long-term operation.

Systems Designed Around Real Use

We do not install generic systems or pre-set packages.

Each solution is designed around your property, existing electrical infrastructure, and how energy is actually used throughout the day. This ensures solar, battery, and EV charging systems deliver realistic performance and long-term value, not theoretical savings.

Electrical Work Done Properly

EcoGrid is a fully qualified electrical contractor as well as a renewable installer.

All electrical work is carried out by competent engineers and tested in accordance with current wiring regulations. From inspection and design to upgrades and remedial works, installations are delivered correctly, safely, and first time.

Optimising Existing Systems

Not all systems perform as expected, often due to design limitations, poor integration, or outdated components.

EcoGrid assesses, tests, and upgrades existing solar and battery installations to improve performance, reliability, and compliance, ensuring your original investment delivers the benefit it should.

Our Approach

Before recommending any solution, we focus on understanding:

  • Your property and electrical infrastructure
  • How energy is used throughout the day
  • Safety, compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Long-term performance and maintainability

This diagnostic-first approach ensures recommendations are technically appropriate, compliant, and aligned with real-world use.
